Senior Pastors

Todd and Lorie Walker are the Senior Pastors of Summit Church in Rainbow City, Alabama.

Todd and Lorie have been pastoring since April 2000 when they started Daystar Christian Center in Gadsden, AL which is now Summit Church since October 2018 in Rainbow City, AL. Their ministry mission is to build and advance God’s kingdom one family at a time. They have devoted their lives to encourage others to live up to their God-given potential in Christ.

Todd is an ordained pastor with an apostolic vision for Etowah County. His heart is for a Presence-driven church to affect cultural transformation. Todd is committed to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ evidenced with the power of God showing up through radical salvations, healings, and miracles. His heart is that every believer be empowered with the knowledge of sonship. Todd is noted to be a steadfast worshipper, committed to the high calling of integrity and purity. Todd has served his country faithfully through the Naval Submarine Force, where in addition to his other duties he also served as Chaplain. He also currently serves as the Chaplain at the Etowah County Jail. 

Lorie is a pastor, teacher, and speaker. She has a call to women and has dedicated her life to enlighten, encourage, equip, and empower them in their walk with Christ. Her testimony is a powerful illustration of God’s love and forgiveness, therefore she is passionate about seeing women set free from their past mistakes and failures. Lorie is a sold-out Lover of Jesus and is compelled by passion for His kingdom. Lorie is the founder and director of Ladies of Light ministry for women, which meets monthly in surrounding counties.

Todd and Lorie have been happily married since 1992. They have four beautiful children, Michael, Macall, Madison, and Saylor. They also have two grandsons whom they adore: Kai and Colt.
